Kaka juvenile MW-O eating a pellet. The slow shutter speed captures the rain of pellet crumbs failing to the ground, where they will be eaten by blackbirds, dunnocks, and chaffinches.

The young kaka take a while to get the hang of drinking from the liquid feeder. The slow shutter speed captures a large drip just before it cascades down the kaka’s chest.
